OptiTemp® is our sealed immersion cooling technology. It surrounds every battery module with cooling liquid, keeping it at the right temperature whether it’s charging, working hard or sitting in freezing weather.
How immersion cooling works
With immersion cooling, the battery cells and electronics sit in a cooling liquid. The liquid draws heat away quickly and evenly, holding the battery at the right temperature as it works.
OptiTemp® pairs this cooling with a sealed design that keeps dust, moisture and dirt out. Your batteries perform consistently and safely, and last longer.

We developed OptiTemp® because we couldn’t find a battery on the market that was safe and reliable enough for our group’s electric Avant loaders.
Today it’s at work around the world in Avant loaders and Leguan aerial work platforms, as well as our mobile OptiTemp® Cube and TER energy storage units Industrial sites.
We design and manufacture every battery ourselves in Ylöjärvi, Finland.

What is immersion cooling?

Which Avant Power products use OptiTemp®?
OptiTemp® is used in OptiTemp® Cube, TER energy storage units, and the batteries in Avant loaders and Leguan aerial work platforms. Our larger fixed battery storage systems also use immersion cooling, but with a different technology from OptiTemp®.
