OptiTemp® Cube
Mobile power and charging
OptiTemp® Cube brings power and charging to places the grid can’t reach, or where you need extra power for a while.
Portable battery storage built for tough jobs
OptiTemp® Cube is a compact, tough battery unit that keeps your electric machines, tools and equipment running wherever you take it.
It’s plug and play, so you can start using it straight away. You can transport it without an ADR licence for battery transport, and it meets the relevant UN and EU requirements. A range of connections means it works across different sites and equipment.
OptiTemp® Cube can act as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for critical equipment, or as a buffer that covers peaks in your power use. Running your equipment on battery power helps you cut diesel use and keep noise and emissions down on site.

Power wherever your work takes you
Construction and demolition sites
Keep your site’s electrical equipment and machinery running before the grid connection is in. OptiTemp® Cube also helps you electrify on sites with restrictions on noise, emissions or diesel machinery.
Mining, forestry and agriculture
Take power to electric equipment in remote, demanding locations. OptiTemp® Cube is built tough enough for heavy use.
Events
Keep everything from lighting to service points powered at temporary venues.
Defence sector
Our TER product family, built on OptiTemp® Cube, is designed for the mobile energy needs of defence.

Frequently asked questions
How do I charge OptiTemp® Cube?
Plug it straight into a 400 V three-phase connection from the grid. With optional accessories, you can also charge it from solar panels or a generator. If you want solar panels permanently connected, a qualified electrician will need to do the wiring, and we can support you remotely as you get set up.
Does OptiTemp® Cube work in freezing weather?
Yes. We make it in Finland, so we wouldn’t have it any other way! It works from −30°C to +50°C, and OptiTemp® keeps the batteries at the right temperature while they’re charging and in use.
Is OptiTemp® Cube safe on demanding sites?
Yes. OptiTemp® immersion cooling keeps the batteries at a steady temperature, and the sealed design protects the cells and electronics from dust, moisture and dirt. Find out more about OptiTemp® technology.
Can I schedule charging, or charge when electricity is cheapest?
Not yet. OptiTemp® Cube doesn’t currently have built-in charging schedules or automatic charging based on electricity prices.
